Out of the Box - two dishwashers (GSP)

I would find it a pity to sacrifice cupboard storage space for that. I think much more fits into a 60cm cupboard than into a 60cm dishwasher. If I remember correctly, your kitchen isn't very large either. Better to spend a little more money and invest in a good dishwasher. Miele, for example, has the Quick Power Wash cycles, so the dishwasher finishes quite quickly (e.g. during lunch).

Everyone has a different usage. No one has ever emptied the dishwasher only halfway with us. When the program is finished (takes 1 hour for us), it is emptied after cooling down, which is quite quick. If there are two dishwashers now, no one knows which one currently holds the dirty dishes and which one is half full of clean dishes, so people constantly open two dishwashers and also quickly mix things up and get the dishes confused.

That is a valid argument!

Although one could agree that the one that is lit up is finished (=clean) and the one that is off wants to be loaded...

But yes, I believe there is the logistical problem that the fill level and availability of dirty and clean dishwashers will not function just in time...

so our dishwasher projects a blue dot on the floor while it is running, when it is finished, nothing lights up anymore.
