So the windows end at the height 206.5 and plus the lintel, the rafters can indeed practically jut into the room just below the ceiling like beams. Statistically, the constellation is still subject to change.@11ant We mirrored the standard floor plans and forgot to swap the window height. That means the parapet height is correct, both windows are 1.12
You want to keep the rest of the attic, your ground floor, and the section a secret, and not respond to the follow-up question about the knee wall?
As far as one really only mirrored a standard floor plan, the level of its functionality would remain unaffected.
The draftsman made so many mistakes here that it is probably only fixable by "redoing it but thinking first" and gave the OP a drawing on the basis of which one can only advise him insufficiently effectively.
I never said that the draftsman should plan a different house (he doesn’t do that either; architects plan). Rather, the draftsman should deliver a clean drawing that is not riddled with (drawing) errors and completely unusable. As it is, the drawing is unsuitable not only as a basis for approval or change requests but also for the builder to obtain second opinions. How should one effectively discuss a faultily/misleadingly illustrated situation? The draftsman should do his job properly again, just like thousands of nurses paid worse than him do!I don’t see it that way. [...] - one does not have to convert the life or decisions of others here either.
