Open garage door without key/remote control

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a solution to open and close our garage door without a key/remote control.

Known options to me: smartphone app, code keypad

The app solution would be my favorite if the security is ensured. Basically, I would like to use the option from Hörmann, since I also have a Hörmann drive. However, this Bisecure Gateway has extremely bad reviews and seems to be unreliable.

Does anyone have a solution at hand? What alternatives do you use?

Background: I spend most of my free time mountain biking and would rather not carry keys/remote controls.

Fingerprint opener instead of key button. I know the assessment of the Hörmann gateway and therefore I don't have one. Also (and this is my biggest problem with the thing) it necessarily communicates with a service at Hörmann. If Hörmann decides tomorrow to discontinue the web service, the gateway is a lost cause.

I have the classic key button, but there are also PIN code or fingerprint buttons that send the appropriate impulse to the motor.

Time-tested PIN code.

I have integrated it with Homematic. Potential-free radio actuator and controllable via mobile phone.

There are certainly other systems, usually cheaper than the Hörmann system, especially if you also need other functions.

Hörmann does have the wireless solution for wall mounting, that is completely sufficient. But it costs over 100 euros.
