Full storeys are storeys that protrude on average more than 1.40 m above the street level with the upper edge of the raw ceiling or on average more than 2 m above the ground surface (above-ground storeys) and have a height of at least 2.30 m. The two uppermost storeys are only full storeys if they have this height over more than 2/3 of the storey below. The height of the storeys is measured from the upper edge of the raw ceiling to the upper edge of the raw ceiling of the ceiling above; in the case of storeys with roof surfaces, it is measured to the lower edge of the roof structure.
This is stated in the state building code.
If the attic storey above the entire full storey has a height of max. 2.29 m or if 2/3 are 2.30 m or higher and the other third, for example, starts at 1.90 m and rises to 2.29 m through the roof, would that be allowed or?
I have tried to illustrate the whole thing pictorially in case it helps with understanding.
Thank you very much in advance.
