hi everyone!

I will start renovating my office tomorrow. So far, I have always bought everything from Ikea. However, I am uncertain about the office chairs. I want a chair that is as back-friendly as possible. Can you recommend one to me? Do such chairs even exist?

I would be very grateful for quick help.

I am also very satisfied with mine, but it was one of the more expensive ones, and it's worth it for my back :)! Have fun shopping!

Hello shortly after it appeared in the assortment in Germany, I bought the office chair "Markus." At the time, I considered the item a real bargain at a price of 169,-. After about a year, this slowly started to change. The top layer of the armrest padding peeled off and crumbled away. At Ikea, they did offer me a goodwill replacement, which I never carried out. (Bis zum nächsten deutschen Ikea sind es um die 100km) It wasn’t really bad and didn’t really affect its use. Then, after some time, the "Lendenwirbelstütze" also came loose on one side, and I thought for a while about just using the base and screwing a different chair onto it. But since nothing fit right off the bat, I never got past the planning phase there. Luckily. Just now, the mechanism of the thing gave out. Sure, the durability is well above the legally required 2 years. But I do have higher standards for furniture. These were well met by all the other Ikea furniture. Only this chair is simply junk.

Apparently that was really a flop. Well, what chair do you have now? I just moved and am looking for a good office chair, but that’s proving difficult.
