Office chair/spare part wanted/precise product name at IKEA

Hello everyone,

The suspension of my office chair, which I bought a long time ago at Ikea, is broken - now I can no longer move it up and down and I am sitting almost under my desk. Not very practical...

Now I am wondering what I can do, as I have forgotten the name of the chair and neither know what spare part I need nor where to get it...

Has anyone had similar experiences and can maybe help me?

are you now almost sitting under the desk? Then you need a smaller one:-)

No, silly joke...:) The only thing that comes to mind spontaneously is that such a suspension is called a "Gasdruckfeder".
Maybe that helps you a little...?

diameter completely under 46 mm, then the targeted 48 mm, at the very top it is 27 mm which becomes about 30 mm. the thick part alone has a length of 30 cm, fully extended it is a total of 42 cm including the trigger.
