Hehe... when I think that I once paid 5 point something in interest...
And yes: I wrote it recently: they calculate it tight with the motto: we'll do the rest (usually carport/garage or landscaping) "little by little from the current salary"... and at the same time an annual special repayment of 5% from the already not very generous salary is expected, so that after 20 years it's all paid off.

And I keep asking myself: what's the hurry? Construction money is the cheapest money you can get... Instead, a consumer loan is taken out to pay for the carport because the leftover was put into the special repayments...
