Hello!

I just received an offer from the heating engineer for my construction project next year and I am quite surprised at the price in the end.

Key data: 160 sqm plus basement, KFW 55 solid construction, currently 2 people but 4 planned in the future, underfloor heating

The standard includes a Viessmann Vitocal 200-S including a 200l hot water tank.

Because of the BAFA subsidy until the end of 2020, we wanted to submit an offer with the same to take advantage of the 35% subsidy. Additionally, a ventilation system is to be installed.

Therefore, the breakdown was as follows (net prices!):

[*]Novelan LADV9 including HSDV9, 180 liter hot water boiler and 62 liter buffer tank for €5040
[*]Optional HSDV12 with 290 liter hot water and 82 liter boiler for €997
[*]Hoval Homevent comfort FRT 351 including Toptronic E room control module and all silencers, pipes, etc. for €13,694.93

The controlled residential ventilation in particular blew me away a bit... are the surcharges too high or within the usual range?

Thank you very much!

Vaillant Controlled residential ventilation for just under 13k for 163m2. From what I read here, I would say that is a common price.

Yes, I also don't see anything unusual. It only gets cheaper through personal effort. The market situation simply allows the prices.

Puuuhhhaaa, quite steep, as a comparison the price for our controlled residential ventilation
(we take one device per semi-detached house)

€6,897.44 net for:

Ventilation unit Maico WS 320KB
80 m³ - 320 m³
Control separate.
Ventilation unit with heat
recovery via cross
flow heat exchanger
- Control included in delivery
- Integrated summer bypass
- Supply air filter F7 and G4.
- High-quality filters with long
service life.
- Efficiency 96%
- Outside wall grille
- Pipes for fresh and exhaust air
- 2x telephone silencers
- 2x 8-way distributor
delivery and installation

But: Installation price minus our own contribution because the controlled residential ventilation pipes (DN75) from the air distributors to the valves are laid by ourselves. Also holes for valves as well as the installation thereof is own contribution.
