The term "Tatbestand" is used, among other things, in criminal law, where it is commonly known. :)

You also live in Hessen ;)

In Brandenburg, there are different requirements.

In BW this was necessary (all 3 surveyors almost the same price), however 500 sqm property:

Sounds like a lot. For us, everything was really expensive and the surveyor came, I think, 3 or 4 times... measuring the shell construction, later measuring the garage, later measuring everything for the [Register/Kataster]. And at the beginning, he also surveyed the entire plot with heights and staked it out (fun fact - the red stakes then loosely stood about 0.5m beyond the old fence at the neighbor’s).... It all followed the fee schedule and was all in about 5-6 thousand.... GD

For all non-Brandenburg residents: The official site plan is mandatory for the building application. This alone can already cost 2.7k (net) depending on the plot size.

And the surveying then costs another 1.3k (or more) net.

Two tasks you cannot avoid and suddenly 5k is gone. Not to mention rough and fine staking, etc. Or boundary surveys.

That’s how I found it out now as well. When surveying the neighboring plot (for some reason I don’t even know), it also turned out that the plot is 0.5m longer towards the street, and mine probably is too.
