Due to the sparse information, it is not possible to make a price estimate whether it fits.

What kind of information would be needed?

I don't want an exact counteroffer either. If you look online for comparison prices, the heating system + storage tank starts at about €7000. Even if the general contractor now sells it for €10,000, I can still live with that. But for 180m² underfloor heating + installation, that would be €18,000 after all.

That seems clearly too much to me, as to others.

You only get a sense of price once you have a comparative offer. You can roughly give a tendency, of course. But everything there is very rough.

We will not get a real comparative offer for this. We can only try to negotiate or switch the provider...

With another provider with a similar house size and basement, there is the same air-water heat pump including underfloor heating for regularly €17950...
Thanks to a promotion currently even currently for €10550
However, this is not our preferred provider...

So with an €18K difference, I would also hire a dancing chicken... Of course, always assuming that both deliver a similar result to me.

Before any misunderstandings arise:

These are the positions for heating from two general contractors in a first offer.
Since a house is not only about heating, I unfortunately cannot make the decision solely based on the price difference in this one position ;)

I only brought offer 2 into play to show Koempy that there is an offer from another provider with comparable parameters (house size, heating).
Unfortunately, provider 2 has other points that do not quite convince in the overall concept.
But if I enter into concrete price negotiations with provider 1, I like to inform myself beforehand so as not to embarrass myself ;)
