Hello dear community, we are desperate and hope for your advice. We are currently renovating a single-family house from 1935. In the living room, we glued non-woven wallpaper with Metylan §direct Control". Beforehand, the wall was primed with a mixture of primer and white wall paint. After wallpapering, we noticed that in some places the pink indicator of the adhesive (which should actually dry clear) shows through in the form of water stains. Now we have pink spots under our wallpaper. The wallpapering was done 4 days ago(!) and we don’t feel that the spots have changed or gotten smaller significantly since then. We called the Metylan hotline and they said it is still drying? Has anyone else had this problem and can tell me if it will still become transparent and if so, how long that takes? We are moving in 10 days (unmoveable because of a huge pregnancy belly) and I’m slowly coming to terms with the terrible thought of having to paint over my €300 wallpaper white. THANK YOU!
