And how does the [entstehen die in diesem Zusammenhang] arise? I only know the topic from the bow thruster so far and must admit that I never fully understood it...

Locally limited fluid flow velocities in the pipe. Presumably caused by the deposit-related cross-sectional narrowing you suspected.

Ok. And the approach to fixing it would probably be to use the small drain valve on the shut-off valve behind the water meter to empty the entire system, and then somewhere upstairs in the house at an angle valve, a suitable (diluted with water) acid would have to be introduced. Presumably citric acid. You would then have to let it take effect, and ideally, the lime slurry would come out of the drain valve below.

Am I the only one with this problem, or has someone else experienced something like this before?

Now I received a warning because apparently external links are not allowed here. Very unusual for a forum. But you also cannot upload audio files here. How are you supposed to provide something to people if you cannot upload anything, but also cannot link to anything?

In any case, I will now try it with citric acid, I have made a filling tube with a funnel, which I can screw on instead of the shower hose. Since this is virtually the highest point in the house, I will probably reach the entire pipe system with it.

What mixing ratio should I use? One to ten?

My first attempt didn’t really lead to success; I probably only reached a small part of the pipe system. I will probably have to empty the entire hot water boiler because otherwise this water will push back, so the probably relevant section on the cold water side won’t be reached. This time I will not start at the highest point, but at a sink on the ground floor where I will unscrew the aerator and connect the hose coupling via an adapter piece that has a half-inch external thread on both sides.

But something else has happened: Since then the backwash filter has been dripping, and I have to remember to empty a 10-liter bucket every few days. What is this backwash filter actually for? And does it now have to be replaced because of this? For that too, the whole system has to be emptied again..

Why don't you just have a professional company do it?
