Hello everyone,
I am new here!
I just signed up and would like to ask you to be patient with me.
I hope my topic fits here.
This is my first forum!
I am Chris and come from southern Germany.
My garden is located below a heavily trafficked country road.
My hillside property is separated from the road by an old stone wall.
The wall is about 1 meter high and 50 cm thick, an old rubble stone wall.
The road wall runs along the entire length of the property and has a
round-arched opening every 10 meters (115 cm x 60 cm) through which the sound / noise can be clearly heard in the garden.
Trees or hedges are not possible because the garden and the road surface have a height difference
of about 4-6 meters (steep embankment).
By the time the plants are that tall, there will only be electric cars. I don’t want to wait that long.
How or what could I do to cover or close the opening in the wall to reduce
the road noise.
In summer, motorcycles are especially loud as they accelerate on a beautiful winding
mountain road, which I can understand.
That’s why I’m asking you.
Thanks in advance for your response.
Regards
Chris
