No drawings before contract signature

We had been with many providers beforehand. There was actually a rough draft from each. Now it has even become the provider who released a 3D model. Even a local general contractor. No one else provided a 3D model.

A real estate developer would be someone who sells you a plot of land along with a house (possibly only started to be built in the future), which wouldn’t work without at least having the house already partially included in the contract as planned. So you probably mean a general contractor (who builds a house for you on your plot).

Funny anecdote: My GC, someone who doesn’t perform any trade themselves but merely plans and coordinates all trades, just referred to himself as a real estate developer in a conversation. Hehe.
I avoided pointing out his mistake; that doesn’t seem to go down well with gentlemen in the construction industry...

So we also had conversations with several general contractors. I only received multiple drafts from one, without a signature.

All others referred to similar floor plans in the catalogs or tried to sell us already existing catalog floor plans.

Ultimately, we chose the one who, even without a signature, sent the site manager to our property to better assess the conditions.

Had also made drafts beforehand without signing anything, or adjusted a standard floor plan. So walls were slightly changed, shifted, wall recesses added, rooms swapped, also in the [DG].

There are GÜs who have several bases, meaning several companies under one roof. I also often use terms towards citizens that don’t really exist in my field. But the citizen understands it :cool:
