Good morning dear forum community,
I wish you all a Happy New Year, much success, and good health.
I have a quick question. My grandma has a white plaster facade that became dirty after 10 years, so she decided 3 years ago to have it repainted by a professional company.
This company "allegedly" disinfected it with Caparol Capatox, then primed it with Caparol Thermosan-Grund, and finally painted it twice with Caparol Thermosan facade paint.
However, the facade turned extremely green in some spots already in the first year and after 3 years it is really bad. This company also worked on other houses on the same street, which are also heavily green. Other houses that have not yet been newly painted are indeed "grayer" than the others but not green.
Is this a "mistake"? Of course, it is okay that the facade eventually turns gray again and algae accumulate there, but already in the first year? The house is located on the Baltic Sea approximately 1.5 km from the beach.
I look forward to your answers.
Best regards,
Fireli
