Unfortunately, we have mostly had bad experiences with local specialist companies. You have to be glad if a company even bothers to carry out an order at all. The only thing that is guaranteed to always be quick is the invoices.

It is important that if the craftsmen feel comfortable on the construction site, they will gladly come. The coffee machine was on the construction site. And we never discussed things for long. The motto was rather: do as you think fits, and most of the time it was quickly settled.

Also, just briefly raising the ridge beam by 20 cm during the construction phase was a quick call to the building authority and an email as confirmation. The contractor and carpenter looked pretty surprised when we had the approval for it within an hour.
