We also had everything done locally, including almost exclusively local products. It worked great here too

I know there are black sheep everywhere, but if the companies have been in business for decades, I actually assume that they know what they are doing.

There can always be theater, like for example our messed up front door, but that was also able to be resolved at first.

I just know how it is with home construction companies, an outlet costs extra, if the door should be placed somewhere else it costs extra, every little special request costs extra.

Of course, it is difficult when you move to an area where you don't know anyone. Things can quickly go wrong.

We never really gathered many quotes. What mattered to us was what it costs and if you have time, when can you do it.
Some craftsmen were already overwhelmed if you discussed the price any further.
Gathering quotes really brings nothing but time and annoyance.

Hello, great attitude to have everything done by local companies whenever possible. This is also our goal.

May I ask what type of roofing you have exactly and how much the matching replacement metal tiles for the photovoltaic hooks cost? I find that much more elegant than "breaking" all the roof tiles.

Marzari metal tiles, they also come from this area and offer metal tiles and painted tiles, about 10 euros each if painted, without paint I think it was 5 euros.
The roof tiles are, I think, Frankfurt tiles from Creaton.

By now, I know enough roofs where the roof hooks have crushed the tiles, and I wanted to avoid that.
