Stay relaxed.
It is completely normal for masonry below the windows to sometimes develop cracks. Of course, no moisture is allowed to penetrate. The load of your entire house rests on the lower walls, and between the windows there is simply no bonding. Theoretically, one could pour a concrete anchor below the window opening to stabilize the wall. Of course, nobody does that.
Now just wait and see what the plaster does and whether the crack actually expands.
Obviously, you become unsettled when something like this occurs. Especially if you didn't build it yourself.
