2cm air gap?

Where is that supposed to be, there is nothing to ventilate from the outside, is there?

In my wall construction: interior plaster, 17.5 cm aerated concrete block, 20 cm insulation, 2 cm air gap, 11.5 cm facing brick.
Of course not with plastered walls!!!! But then you don't have any mineral wool.
When I think that 1.5 years ago, the m3 of mineral wool with WLG032 cost me almost 90€, it was definitely worth it.

Who comes up with such a sawing-intensive (or requiring a too wild bonding pattern) wall construction?

The design architect who has zero knowledge. But actually, it was no problem with the wet cutting machine. My attic was much more complex.

I know that the stones are not specially shipped to crab peeling factories for cutting. But ignorance of stone sizes continues, and with relatively little "effort" it affects the overlapping dimensions. In recent years, I have repeatedly suspected that there is a young generation of architects with a kind of "emergency high school diploma" without any construction site internship. Ever since CAD has spread into the smallest offices, the snobs have afforded complete cluelessness and no longer pick up a bound Neufert. You really shouldn't be surprised then if many houses are draped in anthracite mourning. But the more sloppiness rules during training, the more often the construction supervision expert has to crack the whip :-(
