but now seriously: we have been in a far too thin-walled multi-family house for almost ten years. I am already dreading the first noises after moving in that I did not expect. I can really sympathize with that.

Sure, for example, we consciously avoided a laundry chute, ordered soundproof windows in the bedroom, and also had the wastewater pipes soundproofed. But what good does it do if the installation was botched...

I always go to the pot without an expert as well.

We were very worried about the laundry chute and ultimately did it ourselves ... insulated it with mineral wool so you can’t hear it ... We also have windows in the bedroom and the main pipes are wrapped ... everything still echoes ... I was shocked recently when the dryer was running (it stands on a decoupled pedestal) and in the room diagonally across it sounded like a noise 100 times louder, it didn’t sound like a dryer anymore ... however, all rooms are furnished and not really empty ... one has the two machines and a 2-meter Pax inside, the other is a furnished fitness room ... one tiled, the other laminate ... actually there shouldn’t be any more furnishings added .... I can’t just fill every room with acoustic panels and curtains now, other people don’t do that either ... there are people who live much more minimalist ??

You don't have to fill everything for acoustic optimization. However, it does make sense to give some thought to the choice of materials and room geometry if you want it to look minimalist and be acoustically pleasant at the same time.

Yes, do you then have a few tips? I can't find anything special about the rooms that would require special measures ... Especially the fitness room, there is a protective mat on the laminate under the treadmill, the weight area is covered with fitness plates and there is a large carpet under the weight bench ... all soft materials that should absorb the sound ... the room is simply square, nothing special
