Hi, we are currently, among other things, planning our bathroom, how we could use it optimally.

Theoretically, everything is still flexible, including the other rooms next door.
Currently, our bathroom is 351x326 resulting in 11.44m².
According to the architect's plan, however, only 10.80m²?? Why? Are the pre-wall and the T-wall deducted there?

We have now designed our bathroom with the Villeroy & Boch planner.
We used some random furniture, we will probably shop at Ikea.
Also the double washbasin probably from Ikea (cost saving).

I find it somehow a bit cramped and oppressive, right?
The bathtub has a size of 180x80.

Thank you very much for your support

It is not a hall... but with 10 sqm it is also hard to realize. Alternatively: rotate the shower and place it at the top left, 2 washbasins next to it and then the WC - for me with a half-high wall, or none...

The shower will be permanently dark due to the T-wall... so you will practically always need light...

I would leave it out...

What does the floor below look like? Regarding drainage and such...

Is a floor-level shower planned?

Hi, yes it is a walk-in shower. Below it is the utility room, so no problem with drainage.

Originally a T wall was planned, but now we want the L wall. It is just as dark, but the shower is longer.

If we open the shower towards the door, water will run up to the door or through the bottom. Not really practical, right?

Regarding lighting in the shower, do you have a good solution? The wall should remain spatially intact.

If the water runs towards the door, I would talk to the tiler again... Actually, the water should end up in the channel...

The wall to the shower will probably already be >2m, so there won't be much daylight available there. Ceiling spots provide a remedy.

In the solution from the partition wall to the shower could be made of glass -> more light in the shower. Overall, the layout appears more spacious.

Your plan probably works too, it just has different requirements. For example, I usually shower either in the morning or in the evening, so I mostly turn on the light anyway, so it almost doesn't matter whether the shower gets separate spots or is illuminated with the normal bathroom light.

So with the planning we had in mind, the shower screen would be completely room-high. It's really just in a recess. With the planning of the open shower with the door and the glass wall, I meant that the water would then splash onto the door and it would get wet, right? Is such a large glass wall more expensive than a built/mosaic one? My wife didn’t want one, because of cleaning.
