However, we also have a gap in the existing buildings, and the neighbors on the right and left have lived there forever. In a new development area, that is certainly more difficult when the neighbor has not yet built and therefore does not have a doorbell to quickly ring.

What does the land use plan say?

There is no development plan at all. The land use plan is quite old and somehow not very meaningful. It was purchased as agricultural residential and usable land. But as mentioned, it is in the [Außenbereich], meaning right at the town exit. Very difficult ;/
