I think that's good, I like it. If you want to experiment a bit, you could lay a few substrate balls on the front edge and plant some sedum; that also works with sprouts and is therefore cheaper. As far as I understand it as a non-expert, the panels should not be damaged by this, the yield should not be reduced, and you would have something nice to look at (and a few insects). But that's just an idea, I don't know if something like that is possible.
