Mold on the outside insulation

Hello forum,

I have water damage on the living room ceiling caused by a piece of facade that was not properly sealed. Rainwater got in. The cause has been fixed. However, the construction company (a developer) simply re-mortared the spot, even though black mold was visible on the insulation. Is the mold dangerous or problematic? The company says it's okay because there is only a little and it's only on the outside of the insulation. Is that true, or should I have the insulation replaced?

At first it looks stupid. But I ask myself and you, what is supposed to happen? What can the mold do there? Can it penetrate inside? I don't think so. And couldn't you just spray Danklorix on it, then it's dead, dead as a doornail, Danklorix kills it.

I don’t know if the mold stays nicely on the outside of the insulation so that I don’t have to breathe it in unnoticed all the time. If it’s not dangerous, then it’s okay. But I just don’t know. And the construction company of course thinks it’s no problem. But that’s probably not the best source. :rolleyes:
