Modification ideas for floor plan - narrow plot

Hello dear forum,

we are currently planning the floor plan for our house. Our plot is relatively narrow with a width of 16m, which means we are somewhat restricted. In principle, we like the attached floor plan very much at the moment. The majority of the garden will be to the north and the terrace will be at the corner in the northwest. A toilet with a shower as well as a study on the ground floor are very important to us, as is an open and light-filled living/dining area. In the example, the utility room is planned on the upper floor, but we would tend to prefer placing it downstairs. For this, however, the technical room would need to be larger. Also, we are missing a pantry on the ground floor.

Do you have any ideas on how this could possibly be implemented? We have already thought about changing the entrance area, but actually like it very much.

I really like the floor plan! You could also replace a pantry with additional tall cabinets in the kitchen on the unused wall at the bottom left. Washer and dryer on the upper floor makes total sense! Then you don’t have to carry the laundry up and down all the time!

Utility room on the sleeping floor is ideal, as it saves you from carrying laundry up and down the stairs! I have never understood the charm of freshly washed laundry in a house connection room anyway... I like the floor plan; it is rigorously planned and functionally right.

For my feeling, the staircase is too short, or rather, it will become very steep.
