Hello first of all,

in October I will start renovating and expanding my childhood home, meaning I will get my own apartment of about 100 sqm. The kitchen and living room fall into the "expansion zone," together about 40 sqm (rectangular room) and can be separated by a sliding door if needed. Now my question: I want the entire room to have the same flooring (NOT like shown in the pictures!): not sensitive, "warm" (for barefoot walking), easy to clean; are there any suggestions, recommendations, experiences?

Thank you in advance
Lukas :)

We are facing the same question... Is there underfloor heating? If not, warm flooring is relatively difficult. Have you ever thought about vinyl flooring? Either from the roll or to lay, similar to laminate? It should also be suitable for damp rooms - only the warmth is a bit of an issue. I guess tiles are out because of the cold?!

Hello,

thanks first of all for the answers. Yes, we have underfloor heating; the floor should be suitable for the kitchen and living room, i.e. technically robust and also cozy for the living room and not visually cold. I’ve heard something about linoleum, which comes in all colors, or also in wood look?

Regards Lukas :)

With underfloor heating, tiles are exactly what you are looking for.. Warm, easy to clean and durable

Hello,

do you think tiles for the living room are the right choice? Anyway, I have never had that before

Regards Lukas :)
