That was good with the Prime increase... I mean, I think I have even already factored that in. But I am not so sure. [emoji23]
The later maintenance costs for the house give me slight headaches. You can really only estimate those.

I have often heard now that the numbers are good. What would be possible for a loan amount?

I have heard quite often now that the numbers are good. What amount of credit would be feasible? Don't you have a house bank with whom you could discuss all this calmly? I advise against financial brokers—I have reasons for that which would go beyond the scope here. By house bank, I also don't mean something like Targobank or so. Karsten

I would also ask the question what kind of house do I want on my property. With the income, I would definitely trust you with the region of 300k loan + 170k equity (= 470k) without having to stretch too much. Especially with vacations and 300 € per month, it won't last long for 3 or 4.

Otherwise, hats off to your wife for pulling it through, when a child is there, the hormones often play ping pong.

If you go to work part-time at some point, it will relax.

Do you trust yourself to raise the children alone? It will be tough.. I wouldn't want to trade.

Thank you for the assessment. Sometimes life plays some nice tricks on you. Work-wise we had also imagined it differently. Nicely ambiguous, as we are really looking forward to our child. Parenting is certainly not easy. But there is hardly anything that my wife and I can't manage, as long as we can influence it. I have noticed that in recent years.

So, now we already have two opinions on the loan. 300,000 and 400,000 euros. No one would go higher?

For me, it is really incomprehensible to make such a suggestion, really not at all.
