Mattresses also for non-IKEA beds?

I need a new 140x200 mattress and wanted to know if it also fits in a bed frame that is not from Ikea?

I think I once read that IKEA mattresses only fit in connection with an IKEA bed frame.

So far I had only heard of such things from slatted frames - these do not always fit into other bed frames.

Centimeters are centimeters and not an IKEA invention. If the dimensions are the same, then it fits.
