Hello everyone,
we recently purchased a building plot in a newly developed residential area near Bamberg. According to the development plan, there are fixed building regulations, e.g. the single-family house is to be built with a flat roof and on 3 floors (ground floor, upper floor, and recessed floor) on a building area of 9x9.5 m, meaning we have little to no leeway in how the house should look from the outside. But that does not matter.
Now it is much more about finding a construction company. We are undecided about the building method and will definitely obtain several offers (timber construction or solid construction), but we have the impression that there are thousands of prefab house providers, while on the internet we could hardly find any solid house providers (at the moment we only know Probau Massiv and Dennert).
Therefore our question: does anyone here know construction companies for solid houses, preferably regional and with good references, operating in (Upper) Franconia?
And has anyone had experience with the Klimaholzhaus building system from Lignotrend and could report on it?

Many thanks and best regards
Davidoff

Hi, the standard tip is: drive through construction areas in your region and pay attention to the company signs at construction sites that you like. At the same time, you can also ask the respective builders about their experience. Many local companies are only rudimentarily represented on the internet. Regards

I have not yet read a proper requirement of the development plan for an attic floor. What is the name of your building area?

Whether the wall panels are floated in one piece or built up layer by layer does not really change much about the shell construction time.

Yes, true story...I quote from the development plan: "In the general residential areas WA 1.1 (where our plot is located) to WA 1.3, the construction of an additional upper floor as a stepped storey is mandatory.". The building area is called: Aufseesianische Wiesen, in Pödeldorf.

I basically have nothing against a prefabricated house, I just meant that prefabricated house suppliers, unlike solid construction suppliers, are much more "present", whether on the Internet or, for example, at fairs.
