Hello,

we are a new apartment building and have a heating system, air pump, solar thermal system & water softening system in the house.

1- should something like this be serviced (and then annually?)
2- what would such a service roughly cost

Wow, an apartment building posting in the forum - what a surprise :).

Got the utility bill and I'm about to puke ? I only see an annual maintenance cost for the water softener - for the rest, I don't know of any mandatory maintenance.

we probably understand your intention in this question, but I thought you usually express yourself in complete and understandable sentences ;)

There are air pumps for bicycles. I see the maintenance needs once a year after the winter break rather for the bike. And if the air pump is detachable, then you can keep the seals smooth with some lubricant gel. ;-)

My pump has maintenance, but it is a pump with area in soil and no air. It costs about 170 bucks a year, if the cells in Oberstübl still work. ;)
