Hello everyone,

in the course of bathroom planning, the question now arises as to which shower fixture should be installed. Since we currently have a multifunction shower in the apartment, meaning a fixed head above with a handheld shower on the side, and I really like that, I would also like to install one like that in the house. Ours belongs to the landlord, no model is identifiable, and it is also a bit older. I have now looked around and discovered great shower systems from the company Gro***.

Problem: I really can’t stand it when the water pressure is too low and you spend forever rinsing out shampoo. It’s just a feeling, but I need a proper water jet!

Therefore my question before going to a plumbing supplier tomorrow: do you have experience with multifunction showers from Gro*** and does a "decent" amount of water come out?

Thanks!

We have a Raindance Select from Hans Grohe in both bathrooms. I also want proper water pressure when showering. I can't stand such a lukewarm trickle.

We also chose a Raindance Select S (240mm round and 300mm rectangular). It comes out with a lot of water (17 liters per minute is stated on the 240mm version - that fits too). A good amount of water depends more on your hot water generator than on the showerhead. Our old gas combi boiler was a bit overwhelmed by it. Everything is better with the new heating system in the new house.

Good morning,

My husband and I have always been very satisfied with the Raindance series from Hanse Grohe. Personally, I find the round faucet clearly more beautiful than the square one, which we had until recently. In my personal experience, the water from the round showerhead somehow comes out more focused and hits the skin more softly. A very special highlight, of course, is when you have a tiled & masonry shower and install jets in the side walls. Then you can manually adjust whether you want to be showered only from above or not wash your hair sometimes ) ... Of course, it's all a bit unnecessary luxury, that is clear

Wow, you really seem to be enthusiastic about the Raindance!

What I forgot to mention, however, is that we have to install it in the bathtub in the main bathroom. Unfortunately, a separate shower does not fit in the room. The models I have seen from Hansgrohe so far seem to serve only the purpose of a shower and apparently do not allow connection to a bathtub faucet. Or have I missed something there?

In the guest bathroom, however, I can well imagine it!

Morning

then there is still, to stay with H....G...., working with 2 x I-Box. One UP thermostat and one valve for three consumers. This way,
head shower, hose shower and the bathtub inlet Multiplex Trio are possible.
