Hello. Now I have registered here after all because I cannot make progress with my research alone and need the combined knowledge of all Ikea fans here. We bought a large white sofa at IKEA Halle/Leipzig between October and December 2004. It is the perfect family cuddle sofa, as all covers (back cushions, seat cushions, and one large cover for the frame) are completely washable. Now, after 8 years of constant use, the covers are unfortunately completely worn out and we would like to buy new ones. But for that, you need the model name, and neither my husband nor I know it. Our sofa looks almost like the currently available model Kivik 3-seater sofa (article number: 098.741.58), but the measurements do not quite match. Our model is 240 cm wide, KIVIK only 228 cm; our model is 100 cm deep, KIVIK only 95 cm. Further measurements of our sofa: width of the backrest: 24 cm, height of the backrest: 63 cm; current seat height 47 cm (possibly higher when purchased, as it is now "worn flat"). I found a label in the cover: it said ALLEBY 15151, Made in Poland. If I enter this in G....., unfortunately only our sofa does not appear. Maybe someone can help. I would appreciate any hints. Until then, Sabine

Hello meat lady!

The sofa is pretty big, could it perhaps be the "Ekeskog" or the "Göteborg"?

There are also a few manufacturers who still make covers for old Ikea sofas.

Just check here: *gelöscht*

to see if it might be included?

Man, that’s fast. Ekeskog it isn’t, our backrests are wide and angular. Göteborg is getting closer, however the seat cushions are rectangular; that means the backrests extend all the way to the front and the seat cushion therefore has no "indentation" for the backrest. I have already checked at BEMZ, unfortunately it’s not included there. But thanks for the quick response. Sabine

That was quick because I was just online

It's a pity it wasn't included.

There is also a site where you can still view old Ikea catalogs - I think from the year 2005 or 2006.

Otherwise, you could also upload a picture of the sofa, that would be great!

Here is a gallery, but I haven't done that myself yet. Otherwise, upload the picture to a host and then enter the link here in the comment.
