Looking for metal grease filters for Ikea Udden HW320 range hood

Since my metal grease filter for the cooker hood Udden HW320 is defective, and is also heavily soiled with grease and can no longer be cleaned properly, I urgently need a new metal grease filter.

At Ikea, I have not found a metal grease filter for my UDDEN HW320 cooker hood.

Now I am wondering, where can I get the metal grease filter, and who manufactures the UDDEN cooker hood?

Hello, probably Whirlpool and you get the filters from the manufacturer. The type plate reveals the manufacturer. If the grease has become somewhat resinous, you can only remove it with a highly alkaline cleaner. You can get it, for example, in catering supplies. It is also worth trying to soak the filters for a longer time in a lye with washing soda.

As far as I know, according to customer service, but I'm not sure anymore, it is supposed to be the company Bauknecht that manufactures the UDDEN series (stove, extractor hood, etc.).

What can happen in the worst case if the metal grease filter is clogged with grease and the inner and outer surfaces are damaged?

I have already soaked the grease filter overnight in a container with lye, but it didn't help much.

There is a company in Düsseldorf that sells catering supplies, but I don't know if they also sell to private individuals or exclusively to the catering industry.

Lye = real lye with high pH or just a detergent solution?

If the filter is closed, air can no longer pass through properly and the exhaust does not work.
If flames ever reach the filter, the grease can catch fire.
