Hello everyone,

attached are our measurements (they are basically fixed; theoretically we still have 55 cm of leeway downwards towards the bedroom, but we have planned our dresser in the bedroom ;-) ) and the question if anyone has any ideas.

We like
-the walk-in shower (will still be extended to 110 in width)
-the space between the sink and the bathtub - currently we have exactly the opposite and generous space for 4 people is a must.
-the bathtub with a partition wall (not yet drawn here) towards the floor-to-ceiling cabinet.

Works like this:
-the solution with the laundry chute in the corner... should not get wet given the distance to the shower. We don’t have much leeway here (except for the height to step 15 approx.) it must go down through the pantry.
-toilet solution... width 90 should be enough according to the planner... of course we would like it to be somewhat more hidden.

If you have any improvements in mind, we are grateful; it does not have to be a T-solution!

Thanks!

Hello, somehow everything in your draft looks pushed into the corner in the big room. Unfortunately, I can't think of a direct option for a design with this window and door position off the top of my head. In my opinion, though, you should plan for a width of 100cm for the toilet niche in such a large bathroom. I also don't like the laundry chute "in" the shower. Is the shower partition supposed to be room-high?

I find the placement acceptable. However, I would choose different dimensions and draw it separately to scale. For the toilet 1! meter, for the shower width (not depth) also 1! meter, the shower depth about 1.50. Passage results. Raw construction dimension rather plus, so about 1.05 each. Then it also won’t be too tight with the shaft. When it comes to the washbasin, make sure there is also storage space; the basin can be a bit smaller. I would center the bathtub a bit... but you should see how much cabinet space you need. Cabinet space would otherwise be under the washbasins and in front of the window a single unit. You can also hang a nice wall cabinet above the toilet up to the ceiling for toilet stuff.

Small tip:
Villeroy & Boch offers a good online bathroom planner. With it, you can play around a bit and visualize the whole thing in 3D.

Our general contractor thinks it should be at least 150-160cm shower depth so that with rain showers the front doesn’t get splashed all over. We also thought about possibly adding another 5 cm to the toilet width.
Yes, we also don’t find it 100% optimal, but he is then almost 2 meters away from the shower...
The partition is supposed to be room height towards the washbasins; towards the toilet about 220 cm.
We have planned an exhaust vent through the roof for the bathroom for "dehumidifying" ;-)

With you, Nicole, I always get scared before I read your answer... You have already caused me several sleepless hours with various feedbacks. ;-) But that is absolutely not meant badly; I think it’s great that you write what you think... that’s how it should be in the forum. :-)

Okay, so:
Toilet width raw construction 1.05,
Shower depth raw construction 1.55 up to the passage

Cabinet space requirements then depend on the bathtub size for us... we have sanitary selection in two weeks. Then left and right a shelf (tile width... approx. 30 cm), then the room-high pre-wall, then the cabinet from the carpenter in the remaining niche. That is our plan.
