Hi,

does anyone know a suitable search term for a wall faucet swivel spout with external thread? The spout in the kitchen is "worn out" (rusted!) after just 3.5 years, no warranty expected, and all hardware stores and online markets only have those with internal thread (on the spout)... It should be about 20 cm long, but you know, I'm flexible :)

Looking forward,

b.

Would you like to post a picture sometime? I can hardly imagine what you mean.

clear - this is what the end of the swivel arm outlet looks like, which is screwed into the fitting...

Wouldn't you consider replacing it completely?

since a complete cheap(est) fitting costs just 25 euros - it is a consideration, yes... We want to get out asap, otherwise we would invest in something decent :)

I have an idea, not nice but practical. It should actually still work, as long as there is no such intermediate piece right away.

There are low-pressure fittings (with hose and UT Bowler) and there are so-called high-pressure fittings (with connections for hot and cold water).

If you place both boxes (often available at the discount store for 29 euros), they differ by a T-piece.

That could perhaps be an option for you, because the T-piece has 2x external and 1x on it.
