Looking for a lamp for our kitchen

We have been happy with our new house for 2 years now. Here and there, some small things still need to be done, of course. But one thing is really a nightmare. We just can't find a lamp for the kitchen that we like. Our requirements are not exactly low either. We need a ceiling lamp with as close as possible to 150 W bulb brightness. Both of us have poor eyesight in the dark. That is almost a deal breaker. Well, otherwise it seems our taste is quite difficult as well. Does anyone know good online retailers that don’t just offer the junk from OBI?

...is it also possible to lower the ceiling (drywall, around 600€ including filling and painting should be fine for approx. 12m²) and 12V recessed spotlights? Then you have even lighting in all corners. The spotlights can possibly still be dimmable and adjustable. In the first step work, but over the years...

...oh yes, the ceiling is just about 12cm lower.
