The problem is we have already been to all the furniture stores.

Nothing pleased us or had the right measurements.

Above all, the right measurements are very hard to find: 345-355cm width.

The sectional sofa should fit exactly into the niche between the garden door and the wall to the stairwell.

I found this sectional sofa on the internet with the data sheets and mainly good reviews.

I think we will probably have to order it and in the worst case have it picked up again because the furniture stores don’t have anything suitable.

May I ask where you bought it, in which store in Germany?

You are not allowed to write that here, in a huge furniture center by the highway. There was the largest selection to try out, and there are also masses of catalogs for other dimensions.

I ask again in a different way

Which quality features (in the datasheet) should we pay attention to in order to find a durable solid living area??

What should we especially look for in the upholstery?

e.g. at least pocket springs
e.g. wave springs and foam are also sufficient (which foam is good and which is bad)

I have tried again to find quality features of sofas

I found the following

best made of wood, not chipboard

The best support springs are wave springs (which are actually standard, durable, and inexpensive)

now comes the most difficult part: the middle padding.

- Polyether foam, where you definitely have to pay attention to quality, at least 35 KG/M³ density, the higher the better (the higher the density, the more durable the foam)

- Cold foam is higher quality than polyether foam and usually only installed in expensive sofas.

- Spring core (bonnell or pocket spring core), pocket spring core is better than bonnell

Does anyone of you have experience with polyether foam sofas? where the padding consists only of polyether foam (in good quality)
Is polyether foam alone enough or should you definitely prefer a spring core?
