Lime cement plaster, what now? - Painting, wallpapering or plastering?

Our construction coordinator showed us [Kalzzementputz] in one of his rental properties. In the hallway of our apartment, we have [Kalkgipsputz]. To be honest, I don't care at all. I don't find either bad. Both are painted white. If the [Kalzzementputz] offers me several thousand euros in savings, then everything will be plastered like that. If there are no negative points for the [Kalzzementputz], then this will be our option.

2. How would you proceed if your walls were completely plastered with lime-cement plaster?

The crucial question is in what quality this is done. Depending on the processing, a decision must then be made.

For smaller rooms it may be sufficient; larger ones with possibilities of raking light might require additional filling + painter’s fleece.

But I would make that dependent on how the walls are plastered.
