LILLVIKEN - Extension

Dear Ikea friends,

I will soon get my new kitchen and since the water connection for the sink is about 20 cm further to the left in the other base cabinet, I need an extension. The installer said that this is possible, but I have to provide the extension myself. Now the question is, do you know what I need and where I can buy it? Is it enough to simply buy a second Lillviken, or should it be made from one piece? The same applies to hot and cold water, does Ikea have its own standards for that as well?

Hello, you need an HT pipe (probably DN 50) from the hardware store, maybe also some elbows and flexible hoses.

The Ikea hose has, to my knowledge, a 4cm cross-section.

You are extending the house installation, so you initially follow these values. Take the connection piece from LILLVIKEN with you, then you can immediately try whether it fits into the HT pipe or if a reducing piece is still necessary.
