Hello everyone,
together with our developer Interhomes, we are currently building a single-family house. The handover is planned for no later than 31.05.17. When I recently looked into our light well systems, I discovered a hole at the bottom of one of these:
The house is located in an area with a high groundwater level and must meet high requirements regarding basement waterproofing based on the soil survey report. Now my question(s): (Not only) considering the handover date, there is still theoretically time to completely replace the light well system. However, this would mean a new (risky ??) attachment to the "white tank" with the corresponding (critical ??) sealing between the light well system and the "white tank." Would it possibly be better to have the defect "patched"? Or would you demand a replacement from the developer?
Thank you very much!
