Exactly... it's the neighbor's house connection, which was laid too shallow back then.or is that a botched gas line just under a few crumbs of earth?
The site manager said that heavy vehicles would get stuck in the ground. Besides, we still have almost 3m of height difference to overcome, so I can well imagine that.these temporary construction roads are complete nonsense anyway. for a lot of money the road has to be rebuilt, then a large vehicle comes once and after that everything has to be restored. it would make much more sense to do nothing at all and see if anything breaks and repair that. surely saves 20,000€... it's always acted as if a 200-ton truck is driving there. it's a normal heavy transporter that also drove along the road...
Normal doesn't mean you have to silently accept that ;-) if I did my job that sloppily, I would have a problem in the office...regarding liability: you can hardly prove anything against the general contractor, since you have no contract with him regarding that (at least you can't prove anything). he simply passed on an offer from another company. you probably know what conditions were in the offer. that a planner slept on the job and this leads to delays is normal.
I will probably have to prepare myself for that one way or another.i wish you lots of fun with the construction if you already want to swing the lawyer's club. you will still shake your head many times in disbelief at so much stupidity...
