Regarding the transition strip: Don’t always make a big science out of everything ;) I do have a certain tendency towards perfectionism and understand it, but ....

For example, just enter "Übergangsschiene Höhenausgleich selbstklebend" on Amazonas and pick something suitable according to your taste. You won’t go wrong there. You can cut them yourself as needed within two minutes, even with any 3 EUR hand metal saw. Good luck! :)

For example, just enter "self-adhesive height compensation transition strip" on Amazonas and pick something that suits your taste. You really can’t go wrong with that. You can cut them to size yourself within two minutes as needed, even with any 3 EUR hand metal saw. Good luck! :)

You are definitely right... I usually do that for things I lack experience with and am doing for the first time :)

Really tough with new construction... You gradually become more relaxed, but it all takes time until you get used to everything.
