LED ceiling spotlights in prefab house construction

We are currently planning our prefab house. Does anyone have experience whether these prefab house manufacturers (Schwörerhaus, Weberhaus, Keitel-Haus) also offer ceilings with LED spots? What additional cost should I expect for this? Thank you

yes, at least for Weberhaus I can definitely confirm that LED ceiling spots can be installed.

The additional cost for the LED spots then of course depends on the desired spots and the quantity.

We have installed a total of 27 LED recessed spots from Nobile. If I remember correctly, the price was about EUR 120 - EUR 130 / ceiling spot (including wiring and installation).

Our LED ceiling spots in the wall for the stair lighting were quite expensive, however - the seven spots cost around EUR 200.00 each.

I think that's ridiculously expensive!!! We have about half as many... whether LED or halogen doesn't really matter when it comes to wiring and installation. I think at least the socket (without the bulb) costs about the same??

Did you have to order that already during the house planning since it is a prefabricated house where the recessed lights might have been considered from the factory, or could you order it directly from the electrician during the interior work, who installed them afterwards?

Just order halogen and later convert to LED... Savings of over 50% are definitely possible...

No, I'm asking about the installations ... The light bulbs are not what cause the costs

In our prefabricated house, we retrofitted the LED spots into the ceiling. Since the ceilings in prefabricated houses are mostly made of drywall anyway, a retrofitted installation is no problem. The only thing to watch out for is the installation height of the ceiling spots.
