Greetings to you!

Can you imagine that the copper or brass pipes carrying hot water are visibly laid in the floor - as a pattern? Does the advantage of underfloor heating still apply then at all?

Then the profile of the pipes would probably have to be rectangular or trapezoidal and strong enough to withstand loads.

Thanks for the thoughts....

Of course, and then the well-known transparent cement screed on top so that the minimum coverage is ensured and it's all good.:D

Ah! A meaningful opinion from an "experienced user." Thank you.

I believe that is not possible. If you want to see water running in a transparent hose (there are even illuminated ones), then a PC case made of plexiglass with built-in water cooling is recommended. :D

Or do you want some kind of "demo" for users who don’t understand how a FB heating system works? I would then make something like that myself with PVC hoses and a pond pump.

I assume that the purpose of the FB is that the water-carrying line heats the surrounding material, which then releases the heat into the room only slowly. I understand that it works much faster with the "brass line" visible on top. Perhaps one could see this as a combination between FB and a "normal" radiator... So for me, it's about having this brass line as an optical feature in the floor, and the idea was to connect it directly with a kind of heating.

Thank you for the thoughts
