Lay speaker cable under laminate?

Good evening,

In hopefully two weeks the construction of our house (Massive, aerated concrete) will finally begin.

On the ground floor there is a large living and dining area with the sofa roughly in the middle. Now we are wondering how to get the cables for the small speakers (5.1) behind the sofa. Attaching them to the wall would only be possible on one side; on the other side the distance to the sofa is about 2 m.

I have two ideas. Either the cable (then flat cable) is laid under the laminate or we have conduits laid in the screed.

How have you solved the problem with the cables?

Underneath the screed, definitely not under the laminate.

But why 2m too much? It's usually measured anyway and corrected accordingly at the runtime level, right?

Exactly, cables through the ceiling to the wall. The rest is usually handled by the software of the AV receiver during calibration.
