Lay parquet at the front door or place it "under" the front door

Hello everyone,
the following situation: Our front door is being replaced. Parkett has already been laid up to about 2 meters in front of it. Next week, the old door will be removed and the new door installed.
My question now is, what would be more sensible. As soon as the door is out, should the parquet be laid up to the edge and then have the door set "on" the parquet? Or is it better to have the front door installed and then lay the parquet up to the door and possibly have a silicone joint or something similar applied?
Presumably it "doesn't matter," right? But I wanted to hear what you think. Or is it even not so good to set the door "on" the parquet? Thanks

How is the door supposed to come next week if the finished height hasn't even been measured yet?

The height of the parquet was taken into account. A sample of the parquet was available and the impact sound insulation as well. And according to the company's statement, there is also some leeway, so the specifications with the parquet+impact sound insulation would be sufficient.

Does your question then refer to the order of installation or to the continuous laying of the covering under the door leaf or the door threshold?

The front door is never set ON the floor. There is a so-called door threshold to keep water outside and to ensure everything else is sealed. The parquet is laid against it and then connected with a permanently elastic joint. At least, that's the only way I know it from the houses I have entered so far.

That’s how I’ll do it then. I just thought you’d have a nicer transition without a silicone joint if you set the door “on” the parquet. Since the door (similar to our terrace sliding door) probably stands a bit into the room again, I thought it might be practical to lay the parquet first and then the door. But I’ll better leave it that way.
