Hello everyone.

We are currently in the middle of planning for our new house. We plan to install a laundry chute so that the laundry falls directly from the bathroom into the utility room below. I wanted to ask if anyone has something similar and how they installed it? There are various systems for this on the internet, but they are quite expensive.

Best regards, MSDriver

We are also planning a laundry chute from the bathroom to the utility room below. For this reason, I have often googled the topic. These ready-made solutions are very expensive. I have often read that a 250mm KG PVC pipe is sufficient. I think do it yourself saves a lot of money here.

Our builder, with whom we have already talked about this, also said that it is mainly a matter of proper planning. In theory, you only need a pipe that has to be fixed and a suitable, visually appealing flap for it. So far, unfortunately, I have not come across any nice flap
