Voting shares and consumption as well as ancillary cost shares in my condominium association are all calculated according to the MEA (co-ownership share), which is usually calculated based on the living area. Special usage rights do not define any MEA. For example, I have one of the medium-sized apartments, but since I actually have two small apartments that were combined, I have two basement compartments as special usage rights. However, this does not mean I have more financial obligations or voting rights.
