Wing on the upper floor ... but one should also consider the transport of the wing to the upper floor.

But now we're dealing with satire, aren't we? A music room, 4x4m, for a grand piano? Whoever does something like that would also put their motorboat into a swimming pool measuring 10x4m. It's about a grand piano... not a keyboard. A grand piano needs a reasonably large room for decent acoustics; in a 16m² room it sounds like a sack of nuts. Truly the dream of every professional musician.

here an expert reveals himself :D;)
I'll leave it at that for now.

Regardless, at least care should be taken that the instrument is not exposed to large fluctuations in temperature and humidity in order to avoid damage. Everything else is more a matter of personal preference, which the architect yet to be consulted will surely consider.

Do you even have small children yourself? Please show me a child who doesn't scribble somewhere. Unfortunately, you increasingly write such unrealistic things.

Theory and practice usually differ significantly.

First, one has to clarify what kind of grand piano it is. It can be a large concert grand or a baby grand. If the thread starter wants to have a music room, then he should do so.

If there are going to be 3 children, ideally you need three children's rooms. A bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room. That will be a big house.

A friend of ours is an amateur pianist and musicologist and has his Bechstein standing in a bay window of the living room. Since it is an old grand piano, it has to be tuned regularly anyway, so the sun doesn’t really matter.

If I interpret the heights, then the house only receives 0.6 m delta h.

Is there a reference height in the development plan?
