Land offers from prefabricated house providers

we are currently still quite at the beginning of our planning to build/purchase a property for our own use and are using various portals to get a first impression of the market. It is noticeable that many offers from prefabricated house providers exist, advertising land + the associated house.

At the moment, I cannot imagine that the prefabricated house providers really hold that many plots of land for potential customers and therefore assume these are bait offers to arrange an initial consultation. In case of doubt, the land unfortunately does not exist after all?!

Are there any experiences here? Is it worth getting in touch regarding interesting plots of land, or can it be saved?

Asking doesn't cost anything, whether the specific plot actually exists. Read here, as writes, and learn that the prefabricated house providers only want your best. Your signature on a preliminary contract and thus your money, because getting out of it will cost you dearly.
